Enyim Solicitors Secures Release of Indigent Orphan, Reaffirming Commitment to Justice and Prison Decongestion

As part of our firm’s corporate social responsibility, our Principal Counsel just secured the release of an inmate Mr Abdul from the Nigerian Correctional Centre Ikoyi.
Abdul, an indigent orphan was locked up at Ikoyi prison by his friends after allegedly taking a loan of N360,000 from them and failing to pay back. Abdul’s release today re-echoes Enyim Solicitors commitment to prison decongestion and Section 36 (5) of the 1999 constitution which stipulates that every person charged with a criminal offence is innocent until proven guilty.
